This page showcases a few of the murals I have done through the years. Many of these projects were completed with my friend and fellow artist Chachi Hernandez. We make a great team as he is a fantastic figure artist, and is a much faster sketch artist than I am. After he would complete a drawn section, I would follow with my airbrush and begin painting, this was a great division of labor, and made the mural work very fun, and very satisfying. Do to the fact many of these murals are no longer visible, due to a variety of reasons, I try and work my large scale paintings on removable surfaces, such as plywood or large scale canvases. Star Wars Deathstar Battle Scene - Lone Tree, Colorado This 12 foot mural is 2 canvases sandwiched together for portability.
Wizard of Oz - Lone Tree, Colorado Heroes - Lone Tree, Colorado This wall mural is in a small square room, these images wrap onto 3 different walls. Denver Divers Mural - Denver, Colorado 70 feet long, 8 feet high, and 10 days of hard work.
All the characters and poses were drawn by Chachi Hernandez, and painted by me.
This project was about 32 feet long, and took several months in between other projects. Murals in Custom Homes - Colorado Don't Try this at home . . . try it at SOMEONE ELSE'S home!
