Hello and Welcome

Hello, and welcome to the new and improved Maverick Arts. It’s been a great summer, actually the perfect blend of work and play, which is often hard to do. Summer conventions often keep me gone for most of the summer, but this year’s travels will mostly be Comic-Con and GenCon.

Most of my time has been spread between commercial projects such as logo design for a new reality TV show, my own artwork, new fantasy sculpture designs and several custom motorcycle paint jobs. My writing is also keeping me happily busy. Last month I wrote a new, special screenplay called Dust to Dust which is a Vampire Western.

I also recently completed a rewrite of my Supernatural Thriller/Horror script called Carpe Noctem. I am working with Nelson Productions in Oregon on a family friendly fantasy script called SwordMaiden. The project is my own concept and I am already working on pre-visual concept sketches for characters, costumes and armor.

Feel free to drop me a line and become an active part in Maverick Arts. I’ll do my best to keep in contact with everyone, and keep an eye on my computer, as well as keeping my own nose to the drawing board. ~ Thanks, Monte
