Society says you should be 18 to view this
page . . . Throughout history, since the beginning of mankind, we have been drawing people. Art History through the ages is filled with beautiful images of the nude figure. The only thing different today, is our perception of the nude figure. Our society says a young person below the age of 18 should not view these images, I tend to disagree, because this is art, and a person does not need to be 18 to purchase an art history book. These books have work by such masters as Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and countless painters from every art period. I happen to be an artist, who especially enjoys working with the female figure and drawing beautiful people. If you are offended by this choice of subject matter, then you should look somewhere else for art that appeals to your particular senses. If not, and you share my appreciation for subtle curves . . . soft flesh . . . and a coy invitation in your art . . . then enjoy. . .
